I popped along for the last hour of the Hotel De Marl Fundraiser event @ Cathays Community Center yesterday and managed to catch PipeDream doing there thing. Charlie of Deadlines was filling in on bass making the magic happen. 

So with an all day event involving tons of bands and a raffle, a considerable amount of money was raised for the Hotel De Marl, a project that supports the local art scene and the diy music scene. I don't know a great deal about it but it does sound like a great way to support local artists in Cardiff. Check out there facebook page here.
